Role Summary
Technical Email Marketing & Automation Specialist with approximately will support the development and maintenance of our email marketing infrastructure while assisting with technical and IT-related projects.
This role will initially focus on building a scalable email marketing system over the first
2-6 months, then transition into ongoing maintenance, optimization, and supporting additional technical initiatives with the IT team.
The ideal candidate combines technical problem-solving skills with an understanding of email marketing systems, automation, databases, and integrations.
LOCATION: Must be residing in the Philippines – Remote.
ENVIRONMENT: Philippines and U.S.-based teams across multiple time zones.
LANGUAGE: Excellent English communication skills.
WORK SCHEDULE: CST - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (9:00PM to 6:00AM Philippine Time)
POSITION TYPE: Full Time

Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant technical experience
- Experience with SendGrid or similar email delivery platforms
- SQL database experience
- Experience working with APIs and webhooks
Skills
- Web scraping experience
- Understanding of email deliverability and compliance best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI tools or APIs for workflow automation
- Experience building internal automation tools
- Familiarity with legacy systems

Essential Functions
- Build and maintain email marketing infrastructure using SendGrid
- Develop and manage automated email workflows
- Manage SQL databases that support email marketing operations
- Perform web scraping to collect and organize contact data
- Build and maintain webhook and API integrations
- Ensure email compliance, including:
- Email validation
- Unsubscribe management
- Domain/IP warming
- Deliverability best practices
- Assist with future AI-powered email automation and response workflows
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to email systems and integrations
- Support Tyler Tackett's IT team with additional technical projects as needed
