Calimingo Pools is a luxury pool and outdoor living company based in Newport Beach, California. We design and build high-end custom pools throughout Los Angeles and Orange County — and we're growing fast.

We're looking for a Technical Drafter to join our remote team full-time from the Philippines. You'll take raw site data and design intent and turn it into accurate, polished, permit-ready plan sets. Strong CAD skills and solid rendering ability are both essential — our clients expect drawings that are technically correct and visually impressive.

Open to graduates of:

Landscape Architecture · Civil Engineering · Structural Engineering · Architecture · Drafting & Design Technology

What matters is your ability to produce accurate drawings and quality renders — not your specific degree title.

What you'll do:

• Produce complete plan sets — site plans, section drawings, structural details, and permit-ready working drawings
• Create high-quality 3D renders and presentation drawings for client and HOA review
• Convert job-site measurements into clean, accurate base plans for the design team
• Research setbacks, easements, and zoning requirements before designs are finalized
• Coordinate with U.S.-based designers and engineers to gather what's needed for permit packages
• Support communication with California city building departments and HOA offices
• Track project progress in our project management platform across multiple active projects

You're a great fit if you have:

• Strong hands-on CAD skills — AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent
• Proven ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings and plan sets
• Solid rendering ability — 3D visualization or presentation-quality output
• Sharp attention to detail and strong spatial understanding
• Good written and spoken English
• Reliable home office setup and availability for PST overlap
• Self-directed — you manage your own tasks without needing to be chased

Bonus points for:

• Experience with pool, hardscape, or outdoor construction drawings
• Familiarity with U.S. building permit or HOA processes
• Rendering tools: Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or similar
• Previous remote work experience with a U.S.-based client or employer
