Technical Drafter - Autodesk Civil 3D

TECHNICAL DRAFTER

The position is responsible to prepare and generate conceptual and detailed engineering design, basic engineering design analysis, construction and design specifications, estimates and quantity take-off, project schedules, project perspectives and presentations, and other technical drawings and documentation required on the implementation of civil projects construction.

Act as technical document controller to assist and support site engineers in the project documentations.

It is also responsible in providing assistance in the review and designing of other work packages outside of the Department.

This is a regular employment based in Tampakan, South Cotabato.

Key responsibilities:

Sustainable Development

• Provide direct and visible leadership within own area of responsibility through the effective use of the project's SD standards and systems and demonstrate compliance with the Company's SD policies, procedures, and standards in all work activities and positively contribute in nurturing the organization's culture on safety and environmental management.

• Ensure that reporting requirements, internal or statutory, are met on time regarding incidents and accidents.

Program Management

• To assist in the effective planning and implementation of all engineering plans and activities ranging from the early works to construction and completion.

• Develop and maintain a culture of inter-departmental coordination to ensure implementation of all engineering activities is within timeline and budget.

Engineering and Construction

• Prepare comprehensive engineering design analysis and detailed engineering design for Tampakan Project.

• Develop and maintain high level of commitment towards project objectives and targets.

• Assess risk and take initiative and willingness to make decisions which are acceptable to the organization.

• Properly manage constraints and obstacles and still deliver work on a timely manner.

• Coordinate with the Technical Team for the project review, evaluation, and implementation of all engineering projects through providing appropriate and detailed plans and designs.

• Ensure that required standards and procedures are monitored and coordinated with the Technical Team for review and assessment.

• Support the Technical Team in the development and review of all designs.

• Act as technical document controller of the team.

Team Membership

• Engage and support relevant peers in ensuring company's programs, projects and major activities are effectively implemented in order to promote a positive and supportive partnership from Key stakeholders for the project's economic sustainability objectives and targets.

Compliance and Reportorial Requirements

• Established controls, monitoring and coordination processes to ensure on-going compliance with relevant internal and external regulations and reporting requirements.

• Monitor and report engineering performance of all internal and external customers.

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of required reports for internal reporting purposes.

• Provide the Team with technical study report required by National and Local Government Agencies to be submitted.

Cost Management

• Ensure prudent and responsible cost management of activities within budget framework.

Key requirements:

• Licensed Civil Engineer with background in Architecture and Drafting Technology is an advantage.

• Underboard is also welcome to apply as long as with over 5 years working experience in designing bulk earthworks, roads, bridges, culverts, buildings, and environmental infrastructure.

• Experience in mining operations design is a must.

• Autodesk Civil 3D: 3+ years of experience.

• Autodesk Infraworks: 1+ year of experience (optional).

• Sketch-up/Revit Architecture: 3+ years of experience.

• Lumion: 2+ years of experience.

• AutoCAD/Revit/Civil 3D: Advanced technical drafting and layout skills.

• 3D Modelling: Advanced skills using Sketch-up, Lumion, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Infraworks.

•AutoCAD/Revit/Civil 3D: Advanced technical drafting and layout skills.

• 3D Modelling: Advanced skills using Sketch-up, Lumion, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Infraworks.

• Skilled in BOM/BOQ and quantity take-off.

• Proficient in short-term and long-term scheduling.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Excellent interaction, coordination, and presentation skills.

• Strong team player.

• Capable of handling complex engineering programs.

• Able to assume additional responsibilities.

• Proficient in road design, structural analysis, and project cost estimation.

• Experienced in program management and MS Office Suite.
