Lead pre-sales activities, including client needs assessment, engagement with financial executives, responding to RFI/RFPs, and designing customized data platform solutions to support FSI clients analytics and reporting needs.
Develop and implement data integration and analytics frameworks, encompassing data platform construction, data model design and optimization, ensuring efficient processing and utilization of financial data.
Work with business stakeholders and the technology team to identify opportunities in the data landscape and deliver actionable platform improvements, such as data warehouse integration, report generation, and AI application support.
Provide technical expertise, guide sales pitches, develop value propositions, and act as a trusted advisor to clients to drive AI-driven data applications in the FSI space, such as risk management, fraud detection, and customer data analytics.
Train and mentor the pre-sales and delivery teams, enhancing their skills in FSI data platform tools (such as Teradata, Cloudera, Oracle) and best practices.
Monitor data project execution, ensure standards compliance, and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration for data-driven decision-making and business optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field; data platform or finance-related certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Teradata Certified Professional) preferred.
5-7 years of experience in FSI data platforms and pre-sales, including enterprise-level data warehouse implementation and analytics platform design.
Familiar with FSI regulatory requirements (such as AML, PDPA) and core financial data models, especially FSI-specific data models, including bank reporting, risk assessment, customer data management, and transaction processing models.
Proficient in data platforms and tools such as Teradata, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Qlik, Tableau, Cloudera, and Oracle; experience bidding for fixed-price projects.
Excellent communication skills; able to write proposals from a business perspective; fluent in English, Chinese preferred.
Lead large-scale data projects (>1000 person-days) and driven data platform strategies in financial services environments, such as data warehouse architecture, logical data models, and performance optimization within FSI.
