Technical Director - Battery Energy Storage System

What You'll Do:

• You will lead thetechnical management and delivery of renewable projects, particularlyBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), across all phases-from development (technology selection, sizing, feasibility) to design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and operations.
• You may also contribute topower generation opportunitiesincluding wind, solar, substations, and transmission design.
• The role supports thegrowth of the Future Energy group, includingbusiness development in the Philippines, and collaboration withGHD's National Sector Lead for BESS.
• Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure project success and high satisfaction.
• Business Development: Drive new and repeat business in the Philippines Region prepare proposals and bids collaborate with Market and Business Group Leaders across disciplines (Environment, Advisory, PM).
• Project Management: Lead BESS and multidisciplinary projects as Project Director/Manager or Technical Lead ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
• Provide technical leadership and QA/QC oversight.
• Share knowledge and contribute to GHD's global expertise.

What You Bring:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced studies/masters - to be given preference)
• Minimum 8 years of industry experience in BESS projects. (exposure in a consulting environment - as an advantage)
