This role will be responsible for identifying and transforming business requirements into user stories for implementation by the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Architecture Team, to document high-level technical specifications and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Work closely with Product BAs to define and document both technical and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed documentation for technical implementation by development teams.
- Support all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation to ensure technical alignment with system changes.
- Communicate effectively across teams to foster consistent information sharing and collaboration.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar hybrid business‑technology role within asset management, brokerage, securities trading, or trade settlement operations.
- Hands‑on experience with front‑, middle‑, or back‑office investment operations, including trade lifecycle events such as order management, trade execution, confirmation/affirmation, clearing, and settlement.
- Strong exposure to financial instruments (e.g., equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, derivatives) and their related data attributes.
- Direct involvement in system analysis, including documenting technical requirements, data mappings, and process flows for trading or portfolio management systems.
- Experience collaborating with technology teams on API integrations, data pipelines, or workflow automation.
- Previous work within an SDLC/Agile environment, participating in refinement, testing (UAT), and release validation.
