We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Tech BA) to bridge business needs and technical solutions within a dynamic Agile environment. This role involves working closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, and development teams to ensure clear, actionable requirements and successful delivery of technology solutions across Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business and Product teams to understand end-to-end business processes during requirements gathering.
- Assist Product Owners in refining user stories with detailed technical requirements and clear acceptance criteria.
- Create technical artifacts such as flow diagrams, UI mock-ups, and integration documentation.
- Work with Agile build teams, developers, and third-party technical teams to validate integration requirements.
- Act as liaison between Scrum teams and external stakeholders (e.g., architects, SMEs, business analysts in other regions).
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and manage well-articulated user stories in tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Ensure backlog readiness for upcoming sprints and maintain governance alignment with PMO processes and security standards.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and emotional intelligence.
- Previous experience as an Analyst and/or Developer.
- Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology and backlog management tools (Azure DevOps or Jira).
- Knowledge of relational databases (Transact SQL, PL/SQL) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with wireframing tools (Balsamiq, Figma) is desirable.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in Agile Scrum environments.
- Relevant experience in collaborating with Product Managers.
- Relevant experience in writing requirements and writing user stories for Scrum teams.
- Proven ability to influence across teams and cultures.
- Insurance or risk-related domain experience is desirable; insurance broking experience is a distinct advantage.
