XRC Mall Developer, Inc. is looking for a Technical Audit Engineer to join our team. If you have a background in engineering and a sharp eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to help us maintain the high standards of our 32 XentroMalls and 7 Dreamwave Hotels.
Responsibilities
- Audit ongoing construction, repairs, and maintenance work to ensure they meet approved plans and timelines.
- Verify bills of quantities and materials against actual project scope and usage.
- Inspect and audit mall assets, equipment, and utilities for efficiency and maintenance compliance.
- Review supplier and contractor performance.
- Check adherence to building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Review project costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and follow up with departments to ensure recommendations are implemented.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably a registered Civil Engineer
- At least 3-5 years of experience in technical audit, engineering maintenance, and facilities management, preferably in a mall or retail environment
- Strong knowledge of building operations, including construction, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building maintenance standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and building codes.
- Proficient in preparing technical audit reports and checklists.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Integrity and a strong attention to detail are a must.
