Role Description The Technical Assistant Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila. This position supports the architectural team in translating hotel and hospitality concepts into detailed technical designs and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in architectural design development, preparing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure design standards are met. The role involves supporting the integration of building systems and technologies, reviewing plans for compliance with brand guidelines and local regulations, and helping track project progress and documentation. The Technical Assistant Architect also collaborates with project managers and other departments to address technical issues, support design reviews, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to support planning, detailing, and documentation of hospitality projects.
  • Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts, especially as they relate to building systems, digital design tools, and workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated capability in Project Management support, including task tracking, coordination, documentation, and communication with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with architectural drafting and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and standard productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, project tracking software).
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; eligibility for or progress toward professional licensure is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and permitting processes in the Philippines, preferably with hospitality or commercial project exposure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, culturally diverse environment.
