We are hiring a Tech Audit Director for a leading financial services organisation in the Philippines to lead technology audit coverage across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital platforms. This senior role is ideal for an experienced IT Audit / Technology Risk leader who wants to shape the audit strategy, strengthen governance, and provide clear insights to senior management in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Tech Audit Director:
- Lead the development and execution of a risk-based technology audit plan covering IT, information security, infrastructure, and major technology projects.
- Oversee end-to-end audit delivery, ensuring high-quality scoping, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up, with clear and actionable recommendations.
- Provide senior management with independent views on technology risk, internal controls, and remediation progress, supporting regulatory readiness and oversight.
- Build strong relationships with business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to drive timely resolution of findings and continuous control improvements.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing IT audit team, driving enhancements in audit methodology, efficiency, and use of data/analytics.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in technology audit, IT audit, internal audit, or technology risk, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of risk-based auditing, IT controls, cybersecurity, and technology risk management in regulated environments.
- Proven track record leading audit teams and engaging senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate complex audit issues into clear business impacts and remediation plans.
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Technology; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent are a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills, with a focus on audit quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
