Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a Global Insurance & Risk Management company in their search for a Team Manager based in BGC, Taguig City.

Salary Range: Open to discussion

Work Setup: Hybrid (2-3 days RTO)

Shift Schedule: Shifting

Location: Taguig City

The role

You will lead an in-house shared services team providing operational support for insurance and risk management processes to internal stakeholders and business units globally. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day service delivery, ensuring process efficiency, compliance, and service-level adherence within a centralized shared services environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on people manager with insurance or risk management industry experience, capable of working shifting schedules.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead an in-house insurance operations shared services team to deliver consistent, high-quality support to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs), turnaround times, and quality standards are met within the shared services model
  • Plan and manage team schedules, workloads, and capacity to support shifting schedules and NA time zones
  • Drive standardization, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across insurance operations
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and insurance regulatory standards
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and service delivery challenges
  • Partner with internal teams such as Risk Management, Finance, Legal, and HR to align service delivery and resolve issues
  • Lead performance management, coaching, training, and development of team members
  • Track, analyze, and report operational KPIs, productivity, and quality metrics to leadership
  • Support transition of new processes into shared services and ensure readiness for go-live

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a people manager within an insurance, risk management, healthcare account or related shared services environment
  • Industry background in claims/insurance or risk management (e.g., brokerage, consulting, or insurance services
  • Experience working in an in-house shared services, captive, or global business services (GBS) model preferred
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations workflows and controls
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Process-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to start immediately or within a short notice period
  • Willingness and flexibility to work on shifting schedules
