Team Leader – Financial Management

JBS Lease Administration

Reporting to: Manager - Lease Administration

Key Stakeholders: Account managers, Hub Leads, Clients and their teams

Direct Reports: Financial Management Team Members

What this job involves:

High level of independence

Do you work independently while managing teams and multiple stakeholders We can offer you an exciting leadership role where you can use this passion to enhance your skills and deliver consistent and qualitative Lease Administration services for JLL Clients. You will manage the portfolio to meet the clients KPI's under the contract, ensure all lease data is abstracted and approved in the systems, and monitor critical dates to ensure all lease events are actioned in accordance with the Lease and service levels agreed with the client. You will be accountable to manage the rental costs for our clients, and ensuring these gets paid in accordance with the Lease agreement.

Highest qualitative delivery

Ensure all data changes are accurately documented, approved and installed in the system; develop or enhance existing field manuals for all the processing functions, including rent review, building inspections, reporting, updating Portfolio; ensure approvals are recorded accurately in software; ensure the team are aware of transaction that affect them, such as new sites, terminations, etc.; ensure that Lease Admin are identifying and dealing with all reconciliations in a timely fashion; assist in the preparation of annual budgets; deliver excellent customer service and build effective relationships with key stakeholders across all levels.

Best Practices

Develop and maintain a library of best practice policies and procedures relating to lease administration (where required and in consultation with the Operations Manager – Lease Administration); develop and maintain standard checklists, templates, work flows and documentation for use for each client.

Impeccable expertise

We're looking for Post-Graduates (Commerce / Finance Background) or equivalent work experience in lease administration, with a degree PMP / MBA preferred. You should have a minimum of six (6) years industry experience with atleast 2 years of people management experience required either in the corporate environment in Finance field or Lease Admin field, third party service provider or as a consultant. Knowledge of real estate leases and accounting would be useful, and having experience in using a property management/lease administration system.

Immaculate knowledge

You should possess sound computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong attention to detail and good organizational, interpersonal skills, positive approach to meeting regional business needs, ability to work with and report to multiple point of contacts and multiple projects at the same time, strong team management and finance skills including project planning, and strong communication and analytical skills.

You should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with readiness to change and receptivity to new ideas. You must show resilience by effectively dealing with day-to-day stress while managing your own and others emotions. We require strong strategic thinking and networking abilities to develop workable solutions and strategies for client needs.
