What this job involves
This role will work directly with the Sourcing & Procurement APAC Manager. Lead and supervise a team of JBS Analysts and Senior Analysts – Vendor Performance who support the Procurement team in the Asia Pacific region across the end-to-end Vendor Performance Management (VPM) cycle, including scorecard management, Corrective Action Plan (CAP) tracking, and Supplier Performance Meetings (SPM). Developing and updating key tools, frameworks, and resources to support the business will add value and efficiency to JLL and its Clients.

What this job involves

Lead and supervise a team of JBS Analysts and Senior Analysts – Vendor Performance who support the Procurement team in the Asia Pacific region across the end-to-end Vendor Performance Management (VPM) cycle, including scorecard management, Corrective Action Plan (CAP) tracking, and Supplier Performance Meetings (SPM). Developing and updating key tools, frameworks, and resources to support the business will add value and efficiency to JLL and its Clients.
Team Lead will ensure that the following scope will be managed effectively by the team:
- Oversee the end-to-end Vendor Performance Management (VPM) cycle, including scorecard creation, distribution, completion tracking, and issuance in Jaggaer
- Provide guidance to the team and business regarding vendor performance methodology, scoring standards, and escalation protocols, in collaboration with S&P Leadership
- Monitor scorecard and Corrective Action Plan (CAP) timelines and provide notification to the business, engaging with Sourcing & Procurement as required to identify any resourcing required
- Review escalated vendor performance issues and disputed scoring outcomes but not negotiate directly with vendors. Liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally to get the best outcome for JLL and the Clients
- Develop an understanding of the business environment in which JLL operates
- Proactively develop and maintain effective internal relationships to facilitate the achievement of business goals
- Work with internal stakeholders to achieve value-based outcomes and minimise risk to JLL
- Manage, coach, and develop the JBS Analyst and Senior Analyst – Vendor Performance team, including performance reviews, capability building, and workload allocation across simultaneous SPM cycles
- Monitor third-party risk in relation to vendor performance outcomes, with any support being provided by the local team
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, internal customers, management, and peers
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records/logs of scorecards, CAPs, and SPM documentation in Jaggaer
- Identify and escalate priority issues, follow up where necessary. Support ad-hoc projects
- Provide support to our Procurement team in the Asia Pacific region
- Ability to monitor and deliver timely scorecards, CAPs, and reporting to meet business demands
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities across accounts with a high level of attention to detail

- Proficient in MS Office skills, highly skilled in MS Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Working knowledge of Jaggaer (required) and Aravo (preferred), or equivalent e-procurement/vendor management platforms
- Relevant work experience in vendor/supplier performance management, sourcing, or procurement operations; exposure to shared-services or offshore delivery environments will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple accounts and projects with competing timelines
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing objectives on time
- Flexible attitude, team player, detail-oriented
- Relationship builder both externally and internally
- Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
- Can work effectively both independently and in a team
- Prior experience with Jaggaer or equivalent e-procurement/vendor management platforms strongly preferred
