Team Lead – US Travel Nurse Recruitment

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Team Lead – US Travel Nurse Recruitment to lead and support our recruitment team.
The Team Lead will oversee day-to-day recruitment operations, coach and develop recruiters, monitor team performance, and ensure recruitment targets and business objectives are consistently achieved. Experience in US staffing, healthcare recruitment, travel nursing, or high-volume recruitment is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of US Travel Nurse Recruiters
- Set daily and weekly recruitment goals and monitor team performance against KPIs
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and one-on-ones
- Identify performance gaps and implement coaching and improvement plans
- Motivate the team and foster a high-performance, collaborative environment
- Monitor attendance, productivity, activity levels, and overall team engagement
Recruitment Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate engagement, and placement
- Ensure recruiters maintain a strong pipeline of qualified US healthcare professionals
- Monitor candidate activity and ensure timely follow-ups throughout the recruitment process
- Review recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve conversion and placement rates
- Support recruiters with challenging candidates, escalations, and complex recruitment situations
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to applicant tracking systems, databases, and recruitment trackers
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, talent acquisition, or a related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a Team Lead, Senior Recruiter, Supervisor, or similar leadership role
- Experience managing, mentoring, or coaching recruiters
- US recruitment, healthcare recruitment, travel nursing, or staffing experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate engagement
- Proven ability to work with and deliver against recruitment KPIs and placement targets
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, ATS platforms, and recruitment tools
