What this job involves
The Regional Sourcing & Procurement Lead is responsible for managing and leading the strategic sourcing function across a specific portfolio of categories, including the development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, category management and supply management strategies. This ensures Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) attains the best value in the goods and services procured to enable the achievement of JLL's goals. The Head of Sourcing will be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to both internal stakeholders and clients. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will direct the procurement of goods and services for the client; assist Procurement team members and colleagues with procurement processes, develop and update procurement policies and procedures as well as develop a centralised procurement program that will add value and efficiency to JLL and its Clients.
This role reports directly to the Transformation Lead – APAC and requires a multi-disciplined subject matter expert in Integrated Facility Management (IFM), to manage complex initiatives and integrated outsourcing programs.
- Establish, lead and execute category plans, strategies and frameworks, including market approaches, procurement analysis, supplier development and evaluation, to meet Clients needs and expectations.
- Establish and communicate S&P vision to Clients, Stakeholders, Vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners to promote effectiveness and efficiency
- Presents sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
- Establish and enhance stakeholder and Client engagement to ensure that sourcing strategies meet JLL and the Client needs.
- Develop, communicate, and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.
- Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment.
- Develop an understanding of the business environment in which JLL operates, understands its goals and how Procurement activities help achieve organisational outcomes
- Utilise stakeholder input and feedback and promote continued engagement throughout the tendering and sourcing process.
- Supports efforts to improve supply chain efficiency, maintain service and product quality standards, and reduce costs.
- Identify and evaluate new market trends, dynamics and opportunities, to deliver market strategies and procurement decisions that meets JLL and Client needs.
- Provide advice to key stakeholders and Clients on all aspects of the procurement category strategy, to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business outcome.
- Proactively develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships to facilitate the achievement of business goals
- Establish and enhance stakeholder and Client engagement to ensure that sourcing strategies meet JLL and the Client needs
- Deliver multiple key strategic items in a fast-paced environment
- Develop optimal sourcing strategies to achieve consistent, quality outcomes for the category, given the diverse needs of Clients.
- Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations to deliver favourable category outcomes.
- Translate raw data and trends into meaningful analysis to shape the JLL's Procurement strategy
- Include commercial trends, analysis and risk management in developing strategies
- Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, Client satisfaction, value and cost.
- Keep informed of the supply market dynamics and trends and develop strategies to maintain JLL influence in the market.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve value-based outcomes and minimise risk to JLL Assist in developing and communicating the IFM and SCMP vision to the client, JLL, vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners.
- Implementing and maintaining procurement rules and standards set by JLL and client.
- Assist with the design and development of Procurement dashboards Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested by your line manager.

Key Skills
- Relevant work experience with exposure to IFM principles with knowledge of general procurement services and practices, facility management experience will be highly regarded.

- Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through supplier management.
- Negotiations of vendor contracts drawing upon good contract management skills, negotiation and problem solving
- Intermediate experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions.
ROLE SPECIFICATION
- Business / Commerce Degree with over 10 years experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation including the management of large multi-disciplinary teams
- Relevant management experience and applied knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering will be highly regarded.
- Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through vendor management.
