Position Responsibilities

L eadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Partner Operations Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Set team goals and priorities aligned with GPA and organizational objectives; monitor and report on team performance against key metrics.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to support team member growth and development.
  • Manage team workload distribution, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex partner operational issues and cross-functional disputes.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the daily operational needs of channel partnerships, ensuring timely and accurate processing of partner requests.
  • Manage and optimize the Deal Registration process, including fielding, processing, and tracking leads registered through the Partner Portal.
  • Drive the design, delivery, and maintenance of business reporting and dashboards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase team efficiency and partner satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional business units (customer support, finance, legal, and sales) to resolve partner issues and streamline workflows.

Strategic Contributions

  • Assess how business processes can be improved using Salesforce and recommend enhancements to leadership.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of partner program policies, procedures, and enablement resources.
  • Support onboarding of new team members and develop training materials and standard operating procedures for the PPO team.
  • Respond to and resolve escalated internal and end-user inquiries, including troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; this role may have the capacity to develop additional technical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in partner operations, channel operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration and reporting (4+ years); advanced proficiency in building Salesforce reports and dashboards required.
  • Experience with Salesforce's partner platform is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams in a virtual or distributed environment.
  • Experience interacting with and supporting geographically dispersed clients/users; strong verbal and business writing and communication skills required.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint is expected.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with business units including customer support, finance, legal, and sales.
  • Perform in a virtual and agile setting—flexible to meet changing priorities and challenges.
  • Deliver results under tight deadlines and requirements while maintaining team morale and quality standards.
  • Champion partner experience improvements and advocate for operational best practices across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience as a member of a Partner Operations team supporting the Channel Partner business.
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystem management platforms or PRM tools.
  • Experience building and documenting SOPs, playbooks, and training materials for operational teams.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent credential.
