Job Description

The Role

As the Team Leader (Appraisal - Technical and Compliance Section) , you will oversee daily team operations and ensure accounts are processed accurately and within turnaround times (TAT). You will supervise and mentor direct reports, review and approve appraisal reports, and conduct property inspections in line with bank guidelines and appraisal standards.

In addition, you will manage compliance, audits, BSP requirements, and related operational concerns to maintain efficiency and regulatory adherence.

How you'll contribute

  • Prepares MIS reports, ensures SLA/TAT adherence, handles credit and non‑credit assignments, and conducts property inspections with appraisal reports in line with bank standards.
  • Communicates with business partners and operations units on account status, risks, mitigants, and issues requiring resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with set standards, policies, and program guidelines, while maintaining regulatory adherence and effective controls in delivering credit functions.
  • Manages daily operations, reviews and approves appraisal reports including project accreditation and TVR, ensures compliance with the credit appraisal manual, validates external provider reports, and attends job-related training.
  • Ensures appraisal documents are complete and accurate with requests, and monitors accounts from assignment through submission for review and approval.

What we're looking for

  • Must have at least 5+ years of related experience in credit appraisal, banking & finance, or engineering/construction.
  • Must be a licensed Real Estate Appraiser.
  • Must have a degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • With strong knowledge of appraisal methodology and bank policies/guidelines.
  • Has the ability to interpret annotations on property titles.
  • Must be effective in both written and verbal communication
  • With strong people management skills, results‑oriented mindset, and high attention to compliance and accuracy.
