Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to support the transformation of our Singapore tax operations. As part of an organisation-wide AI transformation initiative, you will work with tax specialists, technology teams and the Project Manager to define business requirements, improve tax processes and support the adoption of digital and AI-enabled tools.

This is a hands-on project role for an experience tax professional who understands how Singapore tax work is delivered and can translate that knowledge into clear requirements for project and technology teams. Experience across corporate income tax, personal income tax, withholding tax, GST, IRAS interactions, tax training or process improvement will be particularly relevant.

This role sits within the Tax department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage tax stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify opportunities for improvement and gather, document and validate business requirements.
  • Work with tax specialists across corporate income tax, personal income tax, withholding tax, GST and IRAS-related processes, as relevant to each initiative.
  • Facilitate discussions on future processes, data requirements, user journeys, controls, documentation standards and operational dependencies.
  • Translate tax compliance, reporting and advisory needs into clear requirements that project, technology and delivery teams can implement.
  • Contribute to solution design by considering tax processes, data flows, controls and technology capabilities together.
  • Support the Project Manager with planning, requirements tracking, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution and delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Prepare concise meeting records, action lists and progress updates for tax stakeholders and programme governance.
  • Test system functionality, coordinate user acceptance testing, validate business outcomes and provide structured feedback to the Project Manager and technology teams.
  • Support change management through user communications, briefing materials, training and adoption tracking.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, decisions, process maps, testing results and stakeholder feedback.

Skills & Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in tax, accounting, finance, information systems or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in Singapore tax compliance or operations, tax or finance transformation, business analysis or project delivery.
  • A sound understanding of tax department workflows, compliance deadlines, tax computations, documentation requirements and interactions with clients, internal teams or IRAS.
  • Experience preparing business requirements, process notes, user stories, test cases, tax technical materials, training resources or project documentation would be an advantage.
  • Professional tax accreditation, relevant tax training or a Singapore accounting qualification would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other common business applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with tax and technology stakeholders.
