Tax Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Tax Supervisor who oversees the company's tax compliance activities and ensures accurate and timely preparation and filing of tax returns and regulatory reports. The role supervises tax staff, supports tax audits, monitors changes in tax regulations, and works closely with the accounting and finance teams to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the preparation and filing of tax returns and related schedules.
• Ensure timely compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Review tax calculations, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws, regulations, and BIR issuances.
• Assist in handling tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from government agencies.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding tax-related matters and documentation requirements.
• Provide guidance and technical support to tax staff and accounting personnel.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure proper documentation of tax transactions.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management as required.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of progressive tax experience
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
• Proficient in the use of any financial software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
