Job Description

Accountabilities: In a supporting role to the Global Transfer Pricing Team based in London (UK)

The role will focus on analytical and administrative compliance support work in relation to transfer pricing and has scope to broaden / widen over time as the individual progresses.

Key areas will be as follows:

Help with Important Transfer Pricing Reports:

  • Work with our team to prepare transfer pricing documents that explain how our company operates at group and local entity level and to support the arm's length nature of the intercompany transactions.
  • Assist in report writing, for example summaries about our company and the industry that they operate in.
  • Assembling TP reports, including Masterfile for RELX Group and Local files for the individual RELX entities

Support Research and Analysis:

  • Analyze intercompany transaction data and work with the business to resolve when data are missed or mispresented.
  • Assisting with the benchmarking process (comparing internal transaction pricing with those of other companies) working with third parties advisors or with data gathered internally.

Assist with Tax Audits:

  • Support the team when tax authorities ask questions about our approach to Transfer Pricing. You'll help gather information to inform, document and provide our response.

Join Meetings and Take Notes:

  • Attend meetings about transfer pricing and write down important points, so everyone stays informed.

Learn and Grow:

  • Start with basic technical analysis and gradually take on more complex topics as you gain experience.
  • Help with special projects related to international tax and reporting when needed.

  • Manila-based teams supporting the above departments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy or Finance
  • Result-oriented / goal-focused and a team player
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and interact with varied backgrounds / personnel / cultures remotelyEager to respond to new challenges, willingness to learn
  • An analytical mindset
  • Keen to work in a project based working environment, organized
  • Resilience and drive
  • Financial Shared Services experience is a plus
  • Must be willing to work in Quezon City
