The Role:

We're seeking a Tax Preparer. This role is designed for someone with strong attention to detail who can review financial records and prepare accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.

You'll play a key role in inputting data into tax software, making corrections to financial statements in QuickBooks Online, and conducting minimal tax research as needed.

Location: Must be in The Philippines – Remote.

Environment: Philippines and International Teams.

Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).

Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time.

Contract: Full Time

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of current experience in U.S. tax preparation; experience reviewing financial statements; experience preparing adjusting journal entries; experience working with small businesses and across different industries is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; previous experience using Drake, Karbon, Ignition, and Slack is a plus; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Characteristics: Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Review financial records and prepare accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
