The experts in our People Advisory Services team are pivotal in navigating the intricacies involved in mobilizing a workforce on a global scale. Our professionals support clients in handling business concerns related to their international employees by offering comprehensive services in tax, immigration, and adherence to global mobility HR policies, along with providing advisory services.

The objective of our Global Immigration services focuses on immigration-related matters, including visa applications, work and residence permits, extensions, and short-term business traveler deployments. The team provides strategic advice to help client organizations understand and navigate immigration compliance requirements. They assist clients in sponsoring foreign nationals for employment and represent them in cases of sponsorships, visa refusals, cancellations, and appeals to relevant authorities.

Your key responsibilities

As an Associate within Global Immigration, you will:

• Support the preparation and submission of visa applications and related documentation for clients.
• Assist in preparing workpapers and deliverables for client engagements.
• Input data intro tracking systems and preparing reports on immigration activities and compliance metrics.
• Assist in diagnostic reviews of clients immigration compliance to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Work closely with senior associates and managers to support complex immigration cases and projects.
• Organize and maintain client files and documentation related to immigration cases.
• Conduct research on immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A bachelor's degree in International Studies, Business Administration, Human Resource, Tourism, or other relevant discipline
• Maximum of 3 years relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
• Project management, leadership, teamwork, and client service skills

• Understand the various types of employee movements and the associated procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about regulatory compliance processes relevant to immigration functions, adhering to industry, sector, and jurisdiction guidelines.
• Seek assistance to confirm or support challenging decisions.
• Understand and articulate the significance of value-focused milestones for long-term projects.
