We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Officer/ Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring full tax and license compliance across our stores, supporting seamless operations and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process requirements for securing business permits for new and upcoming stores
- Monitor the status of permits and licenses in coordination with IT, Operations, and TSD
- Facilitate renewal of all store permits (sanitary, mayor's permit, fire safety, zoning, barangay, etc.)
- Prepare payments for local taxes (quarterly and annually)
- Prepare and summarize BIR returns, including:
- Certificate of Registration
- Expanded Withholding Tax
- Withholding Tax on Compensation (filing only)
- VAT
- Quarterly FBT
- Final Withholding Tax
- Annual Alphalists
- Handle e-filing of quarterly and annual income tax
- Maintain summary of all tax payments and process manager's checks
- Encode all related tax payment expenses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food industry or a publicly listed company
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Flexible, a team player, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Computerized Accounting Systems
- Willing to work overtime or on non-working days when needed
