Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to be based in the Philippines, supporting multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region. This role will play a critical part in shaping tax strategy, ensuring compliance, and partnering with business stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Audit Litigation Leadership: Lead and manage tax audits and litigation processes across supported countries, including direct negotiation with tax authorities and resolution of complex tax issues.
  • Tax Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks proactively, ensuring compliance with local and regional regulations while safeguarding the company's interests.
  • Strategic Tax Advisory: Partner with business teams to provide strategic tax planning and advisory support for transactions and operational decisions.
  • Tax Process Control Establishment: Develop and implement robust tax processes and internal controls to support both new and existing business operations.
  • Compliance Reporting Oversight: Oversee tax compliance activities and ensure timely, accurate submission of statutory and management reports.
  • Tax Provision Review: Review and validate tax provisions in line with group reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 510 years of relevant tax experience, ideally in a regional or multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of Asia Pacific tax regulations and cross-border tax matters.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
