The Role
We are seeking a US Tax Manager who thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment and is ready to deepen their technical expertise while expanding client-facing responsibility.
This role is ideal for a tax professional who can independently prepare and review complex returns, support client advisory initiatives, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a high-performing tax team. The role will work closely with partners and senior leaders while continuing to develop toward future leadership opportunities.
Location: Must be in Philippines – Remote.
Environment: Philippines and international teams
Language: Advanced English (B2 to C1)
Timezone: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 4–6 years of public accounting experience with strong tax focus.
- Deep experience preparing complex Individual, Corporate, S-Corp, Partnership, and Fiduciary returns.
- Experience reviewing work of junior staff.
- Strong technical research capabilities.
- Experience with Lacerte or similar tax software.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Exposure to multistate and/or international tax.
- Experience in small-to-midsized or growth-oriented firm.
- Interest in long-term leadership development.

Essential Functions
Tax Preparation & Technical Execution
- Prepare and review complex Individual, Corporate, S-Corporation, Partnership, and Fiduciary tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and summarize findings into clear internal recommendations.
- Support multistate tax compliance and assist with international filings where applicable.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Client Support & Advisory Collaboration
- Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned clients under partner/manager oversight.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance on routine tax matters.
- Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities and support advisory projects.
- Participate in client meetings and strategy discussions.
Team Collaboration & Quality Control
- Review work prepared by junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide constructive feedback and technical guidance to developing team members.
- Follow firm quality-control standards and contribute to workflow efficiency.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and documentation.
- Embrace technology and modernization initiatives within the firm.
- Contribute ideas that enhance client service and team effectiveness.
