Role Description The Tax Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila. This role oversees tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the company and its clients, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing tax preparation activities, reviewing tax returns, monitoring changes in tax laws, and advising stakeholders on tax-efficient strategies. The Tax Manager collaborates with finance and accounting teams, coordinates with external auditors or tax authorities when needed, and implements process improvements to strengthen tax controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong tax planning skills, including the ability to develop and implement tax-efficient strategies.
• Proficiency in tax compliance and tax preparation, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
• Solid knowledge of tax law and general tax principles, with the ability to interpret and apply regulations.
• Experience managing corporate tax functions and advising on tax implications of business decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
