Job Description
- Support the preparation and review of corporate income tax filings and monthly/quarterly estimated payments ahead of all due dates.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, and conduct interviews to support corporate income tax compliance, provision preparation, and transfer pricing requirements.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and yearend tax provisions and responding to information requests from the provision team.
- Prepare and/or review documentation for audit inquiries from tax authorities and internal/external auditors.
- Prepare and review compliance documentation and calculations related to tax incentives.
- Monitor and report on changes in tax legislation across the APAC region.
- Draft and review technical memos.
- Prepare and analyze tax account reconciliations.
- Assist in tax planning, M&A activities, and group financing efforts within the global finance organization.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the company.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and propose productivityenhancing ideas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Tax Manager APAC Should
- Has experience with direct tax and statutory reporting across multiple countries, including the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, and/or New Zealand.
- Possesses excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
- Shows strong attention to detail and collaborates effectively with team members.
- Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability for assigned work.
- Maintains a positive attitude and thrives in a teamoriented environment.
- Can meet deadlines and operate within a fastpaced environment with multiple priorities.
- Maintains strong networks within relevant industries to stay updated on tax regulations such as the CREATE MORE Act.
- Preferably has experience in a highgrowth U.S. multinational public company.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience; a graduate degree is desirable.
