Tax Lead (CPA Required)

The Tax Lead (CPA Required) is a full-time role based in Mandaue, Cebu, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Tax Lead will handle tax compliance for LH Paragon, Inc. (LHPI) and its subsidiaries, including the accurate preparation, review, and filing of corporate and local tax returns. This role will handle tax reporting in coordination with accounting and finance teams, ensuring that financial statements and tax records are aligned with regulatory requirements. The Tax Lead will monitor changes in tax laws, assess their impact on the business, and recommend strategies to optimize tax positions while maintaining full compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling tax workflows, resolving tax-related inquiries, supporting audits, improving internal controls, and providing report to stakeholders on tax and accounting matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Tax, including corporate income tax, withholding taxes, local taxes, and statutory tax compliance.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas
• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or a similar public accounting/audit firm is highly preferred.
