Job Description

As the Tax and Compliance Supervisor you will be responsible for tax compliance and management, Local Government Unit (LGU) related obligations, statutory reporting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other regulatory bodies and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Finance and Accounting Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

As the Tax and Compliance Supervisor you will be responsible for tax compliance and management, Local Government Unit (LGU) related obligations, statutory reporting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other regulatory bodies and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Finance and Accounting Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be The Following

  • This role will lead the tax compliance and audit readiness efforts of the organization, ensuring adherence to tax laws, regulations, and internal policies across BIR, Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), and LGU requirements.
  • This role is responsible for the review and oversight of tax filings, handling audits, and for the recovery of input Value-Added Tax (VAT) and excess Creditable Withholding Taxes (CWT).
  • This role is also responsible for supervising the work of Tax and Compliance Specialist/Analyst and coordinating with key stakeholders for audit resolution, process improvements, and compliance governance.

To Succeed In This Role, We Need Someone Who

  • Possesses the knowledge of tax regulations
  • Working knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements

What You Will Need

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any other 4-year business course
    • Professional: At least 4 years of work related experience
    • Leadership: Basic supervision
  • License: CPA, preferred but not required
    • Certified Tax Technician
