Location
: IT Park, Cebu
Shift: 7am-4pm, Mon-Fri

The Tax & Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the company's tax compliance activities, including the preparation of tax returns, assisting with tax audits, and ensuring the company adheres to relevant tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and monitoring of assigned TOA Global Group of companies filing and payment of

taxes making sure they are filed and paid on time.

  • Reporting requirements to the government entities in global scope such as PEZA, CDC, FIRB, BOI,

SEC, ATO, IRS, SARS, Queensland Payroll tax, etc.

  • Take part in liaising with external auditors and the successful release of Audited Financial

Statements.

  • Identifies potential tax exposures & recommends corrective actions.
  • Assists in answering tax queries which may require research and analysis.
  • Assists during tax and financial compliances audits either externally, internally or by the

government.

  • Stay updated in government authority issuances related to tax and financial compliances.
  • Assists in monthly financial closing activities related to transactions review for tax and accounting

accuracy that will impact tax reporting.

  • Maintains financial files, records and reports related to the function.
  • Works on projects assigned from time to time.
  • Assist other departments in providing tax & financial compliance related items.

Key Qualifications/Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accounting/Banking or

equivalent

  • At least one (1) year Accounts Payable, Tax & Compliance and General Accounting experience.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  • Knowledge in Xero, Microsoft D365 FinOps or other accounting tools
  • Knowledge in MS Office applications especially Excel (Intermediate to Advanced Level).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables with an orientation for deadlines
  • Attention to details and organized
  • Ability to work independently and maintain good relations as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Candidates must be willing to work in TOA Global offices located in Pampanga, Clark, Tarlac, Cebu and willing to travel and facilitate field work from time to time as required.
