Awesome CX by Transcom is looking for talented individuals like you to join our awesome team! Be a Tax Compliance Specialist for our Awesome CX by Transcom Davao site. This role you will be responsible for all registrations, reports, filing and payments and other compliance requirements to PEZA, BIR, SEC, BOI, LGUs, and other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

PEZA matters:

• 1. Preparation of requirements for PEZA registration of new and expansion projects
• 2. Secure Start of Commercial Operations (SCO) approval
• 3. Income Tax Holiday (ITH) validation
• 4. Application for ITH extension
• 5. EZMPR, Quarterly and Annual reports
• 6. TIMTA (Annual Tax Incentives Report)
• 7. Farm-in, Farm-out
• 8. Securing Letters of Authority for local sales, tax and duty-free importations, equipment transfers and disposals, donations, etc. and the entire process related thereto

BIR matters:

• 1. Monthly, quarterly and annual filing, reports and payments for WHT Expanded, WHT –Compensation, VAT, Final Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax including Alpha list submissions
• 2. Quarterly and Annual Corporate Income Tax Return
• 3. BIR Registration for new sites, transfer of RDO
• 4. Application for VAT refund, if any
• 5. Submission of reports / schedules related to BIR audits
• 6. All other tax filings, as necessary

LGU matters:

• 1. Extend advisory assistance in securing business permits for new sites and annual renewals
• 2. All other permits

SEC and BOI matters:

• 1. Submission of reports/documents (ie AFS, GIS) with SEC and BOI (including the BOI registration of new and expansion projects
• 2. All other reports and submissions, as necessary

Others:

• 1. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must have...

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience handling statutory tax compliance and government reporting
• Hands-on experience with PEZA processes, including project registrations, SCO approvals, ITH validations/extensions, EZMPR, TIMTA, and Farm-in/Farm-out
• Proven track record in preparing, filing, and paying corporate tax returns (EWT, Compensation WHT, VAT, Final Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Alpha Lists, and CIT)
• Experience submitting required reports to the SEC and BOI (e.g., AFS, GIS)
• Expertise in securing Letters of Authority (LOA) for importations, local sales, equipment transfers, disposals, and donations
• Background in assisting with BIR audits, VAT refund applications, RDO transfers, and new site registrations
• Skilled in advising on and securing LGU business permits and annual renewals
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws, PEZA regulations, and TIMTA Act compliance
• Excellent organizational skills to consistently manage and meet strict regulatory deadlines
