As Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager, you will oversee Philippine tax compliance, BIR regulatory coordination, audit preparedness, reporting, and internal controls in a company that is scaling quickly and building more structure as it grows.
The priority for this role is strong Philippine tax expertise, particularly hands-on experience with BIR audits, Letters of Authority, tax assessments, regulatory documentation, and direct coordination with tax authorities.

What you'll do
- Lead Philippine tax compliance and ensure timely, accurate filing of tax returns and statutory requirements
- Manage BIR audits, LOAs, assessments, regulatory inquiries, and supporting documentation
- Act as a key liaison with BIR, auditors, external tax advisors, Legal, and Finance leadership
- Review tax computations, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents
- Strengthen tax governance, documentation standards, and internal controls
- Provide practical guidance on tax risks, compliance requirements, and business decisions
- Support tax planning, cash flow forecasting, business expansion, and restructuring discussions
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax and compliance team members
- Build scalable tax compliance processes aligned with business growth and long-term governance standards
What we're looking for
- CPA qualification
- At least 8 years of experience in tax compliance, tax reporting, audit, or advisory
- At least 2 years of managerial or team leadership experience
- Direct experience handling BIR audits, LOAs, assessments, and regulatory coordination
- Strong knowledge of Philippine corporate tax, VAT, withholding taxes, DST, and related compliance requirements
- Experience improving tax controls, documentation, and compliance processes
- Ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to Finance, Legal, and senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced, and high-growth environment
- Exposure to Singapore, Indonesia, transfer pricing, international tax, or cross-border tax matters is an advantage
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth company is a strong plus
