The Tax Compliance Associate I (Junior) assists in the successful completion of assigned tax advisory & compliance engagements.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Perform specific steps as stated in work programs and prepares appropriate workpapers to document the procedures done.
Gather data from interviews with client personnel or from other sources.
Apply technical tax law with the appropriate level of supervision.
Analyze issues and implications and anticipate possible client responses before presenting questions to the client.
Perform various computations and verifications of documents, data and information.
Prepare the draft work products in a clear and well-organized and written, which require little rework.
Develop and maintain favorable relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
Qualifications
Outstanding academic and leadership credentials
Fresh CPA board exam takers & passers are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant
Good with numbers
Meticulous attention to details
Ability to communicate, establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
Ability to work with tight deadlines and without close supervision
Prepared to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other spreadsheets
