Job Description

About Us

We are a small CPA firm focused on supporting nonprofits with audit, review, and tax services. We prioritize collaborative teamwork, high quality standards-compliant work and serving our nonprofit clients.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and data entry for Form 990s for 501(c)(3) and similar organizations.
  • Identify and track information requests for missing data.
  • Manage list of engagements to deliver quality work in a timely manner to clients (we would ideally like to wow them).
Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience preparing Form 990s
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
  • Reliable and willing to learn
  • Bachelors degree
  • Knowledge of US nonprofit accounting

Beneficial:

  • Lacerte or CCH Axcess tax software experience
  • Experience with California state tax filings (Form 199, RRF-1)
  • Experience working with a US-based team
Work Arrangement

Location:

  • Remote work from anywhere in the Philippines

Remote work position requirements:

  • Remote work will require you to focus and self-manage your time to deliver on time and accurate work and log your hours accurately for tracking and payroll purposes.  
  • You must be able to join zoom calls, including calls with other staff and occasional calls with clients. This will require a headset and a quiet place in which to work.

Hours:

  • Full-time position
  • Required overlap with US team for minimum of 3 hours each day. Choose between a morning schedule, starting at 5am Philippines Time (2pm Pacific Time), a late night schedule (working until 2am Philippines Time (11am Pacific Time), or working full US Hours
  • Ability to collaborate asynchronously: document progress, insights, and questions

Management Structure:

  •  Managed through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement
  • Directly working with US tax team leadership
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:

  • Compensation depends on experience: PHP 1,000,000 - PHP 1,600,000 annually
