Job description:

The Tax Associate will assist in the tax function, focusing on metrics and deliverables, and looking for efficiencies and improvements along the way. This includes but is not limited to handling tax accounting processes such as tax returns and tax analyses. As a key member of the tax department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing our tax position, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

• Handling tax compliance for a portfolio of clients
• Liaise with clients and collate the necessary information
• Prepare and submit tax returns within the stipulated deadlines
• Provide advisory assistance to clients on tax issues
• Collaboration with other functions within the company and across offices in other countries to ensure service delivery excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other related fields
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Fresh graduate with strong passion in tax can be considered
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team
• Good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills
