Job Description
The Transfer Pricing Specialist reports to the Manager, International Transfer Pricing and assists in providing tax support on international transfer pricing and tax matters.
The Transfer Pricing Specialist works closely with the Manager, International Transfer Pricing, producing and analysing transfer pricing and tax information to support the business. In addition, he/she is expected to participate in regional calls with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice on international transfer pricing inquiries and undertake tax research on specific business transactions
- Monitor transfer pricing developments and ensure compliance with submission deadlines
- Support local finance teams in transfer pricing documentation for all entities within the regions he/she is assigned to and relevant audits conducted by local or international tax authorities for the respective regions
- Review intercompany agreements as and when requested
- Assist local finance teams of certain regions in seeking external tax and transfer pricing advice, where deemed necessary
- Undertake tax compliance assignments as and when requested
- Any other tasks or special projects to be assigned by the Manager, International Transfer Pricing
Qualifications
- CA/CPA (or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years with a multinational organisation, part of it being with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Transfer pricing and international tax experience (knowledge with new international tax regulations - OECD/ BEPS)
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent research, organizational, and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Self-starter, independent, able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work at a fast pace, often with shifting responsibilities
- Ability to communicate and interact with cross functional teams
- Able to work with significant autonomy and demonstrate clear initiative, strong and concise communication
