Role Description
The Tax and Reports Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Valenzuela. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns and related compliance reports in accordance with local regulations and company policies. The analyst will monitor changes in tax laws, support tax planning initiatives, and ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of statutory filings. Day-to-day tasks include reconciling tax accounts, analyzing financial data, assisting in internal and external audits, and preparing management reports on tax exposures and obligations. The role also collaborates with finance and accounting teams to enhance reporting processes, improve controls, and support continuous improvement efforts in the company's financial management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting tax and reporting decisions.
- Candidates should possess solid Accounting and Finance skills to prepare accurate tax computations, financial reports, and account reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Experience in tax compliance, statutory reporting, or audit within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Valenzuela and uphold high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
