As Tax and Compliance Supervisor, you will be responsible for tax compliance and management, statutory reporting, and ensuring the integrity of regulatory filings and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Finance team and external regulatory bodies to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Tax Compliance & Reporting: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (EWT, VAT, Income Tax) and ensure timely remittance and filing of statutory reports to the BIR, SEC, BOI, and ERC.
- Audit & Inquiry Management: Handle BIR audits and inquiries, and prepare special reports for management regarding the status of tax audits and court cases.
- VAT & Tax Credit Management: Manage the timely filing and monitoring of administrative and judicial claims for VAT refunds and oversee the conversion of Tax Credit Certificates (TCC).
- Strategic Advisory: Coordinate with team leaders on the tax impacts of contracts, provide feedback on material transactions, and inform the finance team of new tax regulations.

- Is a Strong Communicator: Proficient in both written and oral communication, capable of conducting team orientations and discussing complex tax impacts with stakeholders.
- Is a Collaborative Leader: Demonstrates very good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage people effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Is Self-Driven & Flexible: Can perform tasks with minimal supervision and remains flexible to work extended hours when necessary to meet regulatory deadlines.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- At least five (5) years of related work experience in tax compliance and planning
- Two (2) years of leadership experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications and financial reporting tools
- Extensive knowledge of Philippine tax regulations (BIR, SEC, BOI compliance)
- Strong skills in financial planning, forecasting, and material transaction analysis
