- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Law.
- Postgraduate studies in Taxation, Finance, or related fields are a plus.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of career experience in tax.

Job Responsibilities
- preparation and review of TP documentation, local files, and reporting requirements in accordance with BIR Revenue Regulations and OECD guidelines.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities for savings within business operations.
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of new business structures, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Serve as the primary contact for tax-related queries and provide insightful guidance on business operations.
- Advise on intercompany pricing for related-party transactions and ensure alignment with corporate transfer pricing policies.
- Act as the main liaison with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), handling inquiries, audits, and potential disputes.
- Manage requests for tax treaty relief applications (TTRA), certificate of residence, and filing extensions.
- Supervise tax litigation processes and manage tax-related legal matters with internal and external advisors.
- Ensure proper responses to tax assessments (Preliminary Assessment Notice, Formal Letter of Demand) and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and collaborate with business CFOs, Controllers, and external tax advisors to align tax strategies with business objectives.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring tax compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Provide tax training and awareness to internal teams to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Provide training to the Philippine tax team, including onboarding, periodic refresher sessions, and updates on regulatory changes.
- Assess skill gaps and define an annual training plan aligned to compliance deadlines (CIT, VAT, WHT, PIT, DST, TP documentation) and internal control requirements.
- Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, checklists, and a knowledge repository to standardize tax processes across agencies and the shared service center.
- Coach and mentor team members through on-the-job reviews, case discussions, and feedback to improve technical capability and judgment.
- Track training effectiveness (e.g., filing accuracy, timeliness, audit findings) and continuously improve the program based on results and stakeholder feedback.
- Demonstrates a proactive and pragmatic approach to leveraging AI and automation tools to improve tax processes, with a focus on actively identifying practical use cases and efficiency gains.
