Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis. The Tax Analyst will be responsible for supporting tax compliance, tax reporting, and related accounting activities while ensuring adherence to applicable tax regulations and company policies. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze financial information required for tax filings and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax-related schedules, calculations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Reconcile tax accounts and investigate variances or discrepancies.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain tax records, documentation, and audit support files.
  • Assist during internal and external tax audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Research tax laws, regulations, and updates to identify potential impacts on the organization.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and other departments to gather information needed for tax-related activities.
  • Support special tax projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance-related functions.
  • Knowledge of tax compliance, tax reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems and tax software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to work in US night shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling U.S. tax, corporate tax, sales and use tax, or indirect tax compliance.
  • CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
