What Tax Accountant Look Forward To Do Well
A Tax Accountant is a critical professional within an organization or for individuals, responsible for managing, planning, and ensuring compliance with various tax-related matters. They perform a wide range of duties that not only ensure accurate tax filings but also provide strategic tax advice, helping the organization or individual minimize liabilities while staying compliant with legal and regulatory frameworks.
What You Will Do
- Prepare tax schedules, returns, payments, and reports while maintaining the tax database.
- Identify tax solutions, legal savings, and opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and stay updated on changes in laws.
- Advise management on tax liabilities and implement tax strategies.
- Accurately prepare and file tax reports and returns (income, sales).
- Assist with tax audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Reconcile tax accounts and collaborate with accounting for accurate financial reporting.
- Research tax issues and provide recommendations on business decisions.

Why You
- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or a related program.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in taxation.
- Experience working in a Big Four Tax Firm or a similar in-house tax role in a corporate environment is preferred.
