1. Provides customer assistance and technical support to internal and external stakeholders in relation to the use, application, and acceptance of SEAOIL Lubricants.
2. Creates value-added SEAOIL lubricant products and technical services rendered to external customers by way of technical programs being implemented and to differentiate from competition.
3. Develops and/or implements technical selling programs that enable achievement of lubes volume targets of the AOs.
Success in the role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Ensures the development of technical knowledge and skills of the Lubricants Sales teams by providing assistance in field testing, including in-plant testing of SEAOIL lubricants, when required for the purpose of product acceptance.
2. Promotes the quality, usage, and advantages vis--vis its competitive equivalent of SEAOIL products by providing support in the information dissemination of these products to the entire SEAOIL organization.
3. Conducts technical seminars, trainings, and/or presentations on product-related topics, product applications, proper storage and handling, as well as innovative technical programs (such as field trials) to customers, to emphasize the advantage of the use of SEAOIL lubricants in their respective fields during bidding and product reviews involving SEAOIL and its equivalent competitive products.
4. Serves as the consultant/expert in the field of lubrication by attending conferences and seminars to keep abreast with current trends in technology developments and representing the company in various technical societies and organizations.
5. Collaborates with the Lubricants Sales teams in procuring new industrial, retail, and distributor customers.
6. Ensures the proper use, application, and acceptance of SEAOIL products by providing after-sales technical assistance to internal and external customers through periodic calls, and proper monitoring and maintenance.
7. Analyzes SEAOIL's product line by conducting plant equipment lubrication surveys for industrial customers lubrication surveys to evaluate competitor products performance in the market and to ensure equivalent SEAOIL products matching SEAOIL product rationalization in the plant and provision of product data sheets and product bulletins.
8. Addresses customer concerns/complaints with regard to the quality of lubricant products.
9. Liases with local Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and evaluates field performance of specific SEAOIL lubricant products that require improvement in its performance standards and typical properties.
Preferred Qualifications for the Role:
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering, and from reputable universities
- Driver's license (can drive an M/T vehicle)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience and solid background obtained from the industrial or commercial setting Proven experience of technical and commercial skills combining digital technologies.

2. Scoping and/or alignment discussions with the Lubricants Sales teams across all channels/segments (industrial, retail, and distributors) for their technical-related support and advisory requirements.
3. Scoping and/or alignment discussions with different lubricants customers across all channels/segments (industrial, retail, and distributors) for the lubricant product requirements, including implementation of the Field Trial Program.
4. Individual and/or group research studies for competitor activities and trends/developments in lubricant products.
5. Conduct of surveys and other studies to evaluate the quality of lubricant products.
6. Field work or travelling, as needed.
Expectations from Candidates:
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
