Reporting Line

  • Talent Acquisition Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily administration of manpower sourcing, selection, and recruitment in accordance with company standards and policies for SGS Philippines Inc., SGS Subic Bay Inc., and SGS Guam Inc.
  • Manages and maintains the Talent Acquisition System, ensuring it is consistently updated.
  • Prepares annual performance evaluations of external manpower agencies and delivers statistical reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager for consolidation and recommendations across all entities.
  • Develops and implements initiatives to enhance the candidate database through specific channels such as career fairs, social media activities, and internal recruitment programs for all entities.
  • Facilitates training sessions on Behaviour-Based Interview techniques.
  • Responsibilities as Specialist

  • Lead and implement initiatives for e/career fairs, social media campaigns, and internal recruitment programs across all assigned entities.
  • Provide support to the Talent Acquisition Manager in executing talent acquisition strategies for SGS Affiliates in the Philippines.
  • Centralize and prepare timely allocation reports for all third-party providers involved in talent acquisition, including but not limited to SHL Exams, Jobstreet, background investigations, and medical examinations for assigned entities.
  • Conduct Behaviour-Based Interview Training for all assigned entities as scheduled.
  • Talent Acquisition

  • Handles all manpower to be hired on Talent Acquisition system for all entities in the Philippines based on account assignment.
  • Performs sourcing through internal and external advertisement and data bank.
  • Builds candidate sources through internal and external advertisement and data bank.
  • Communicates job profile to accredited recruitment headhunter partners, if needed.
  • Rates and governs candidate qualifications by conducting interview, evaluating replies and comparing qualifications to job requirements to know whether they are suitable to perform the job
  • Coordinates interview schedule of shortlisted candidates with requesting heads. Collaborate and evaluate with heads on the candidate application and select shortlisted candidates.
  • Manages new employee and process necessary pre-employment documents. Upload all pre-employment requirements on the ArchiveOne System
  • Coordinates with Talent Development starting date and deployment of newly hired employee ensuring that employee is properly introduced and inducted.
  • Monitors employment status of all employees and ensure coordination with Talent Retention in any changes if there are new movements.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly recruitment and hiring status reports for submission to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Screens CVs per job profile ensuring applicants are qualified.
  • Others

  • Maintains active File of CVs and initiates action to do so.
  • Prepares monthly report for HR Audit.
  • Performs other HR-related duties and help the HR team as assigned or the need arises
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in aid of departmental goals or for personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by Talent Acquisition Manager

Qualifications

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree holder preferably B.S. Psychology, Behavioral Science or any related course
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Planning and organizing ability with high sense of urgency and meeting deadline
  • Detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task
  • Has sound judgement
  • Has initiative and resourcefulness in meeting objectives

Additional Information

Experience/Technical Knowledge

  • With at least 3 years relevant work experience in the full-life cycle recruiting from interviewing skills, test administration, profiling and processing of pre-employment requirements.
  • Above average knowledge in Microsoft applications particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Background in headhunting would be considered a plus

Languages

  • Fluent in English and the local language
