As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer (or as we like to call it, Talent Detective), you'll be the creative genius behind uncovering the best talent for Smartsourcing. You'll use advanced sourcing techniques, collaborate with hiring managers, and build relationships with potential candidates to ensure we're always one step ahead in the talent game. Think of yourself as the Sherlock Holmes of recruitmentexcept cooler, because you'll have access to cutting-edge tools and a team that's as passionate as you are.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify potential talent.
• Implement advanced sourcing techniques like Boolean searches and data mining to locate passive candidates.
• Leverage technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools, for efficient candidate tracking and management.
• Conduct thorough reviews of resumes and applications to evaluate candidates qualifications and fit for specific roles.
• Craft personalised messages to engage with potential candidates and build relationships.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates interest, availability, and basic qualifications.
• Provide detailed talent recommendations and endorsements to recruiters and hiring managers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in sourcing, recruitment, or an HR-related field.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Psychology) is preferred.
• Proficiency in job boards, social media platforms, and sourcing tools.
• Strong understanding of Boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging passive candidates.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.

Bonus Points for

• Speak fluent ATS (or are willing to learn).
• Have a favorite sourcing hack (we're always looking for new ones).
