Job Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction and managing the daily operations of the talent acquisition function. This role ensures the strategic, timely, efficient, and high-quality fulfillment of all vacant positions across the organization by designing robust sourcing strategies, optimizing screening and selection frameworks and systems, and overseeing competitive offer management and acceptance rates. The TA Manager acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving employer branding initiatives and mitigating systemic recruitment bottlenecks to build a high-performing talent pipeline.
Main Duties
Strategic Alignment & Sourcing Optimization
- Partner closely with department heads and senior leadership to forecast long-term manpower needs, conduct deep-dive calibration sessions, and align recruitment strategies with organizational dynamics and growth plans.
- Oversee and optimize the utilization of all recruiting tools, platforms, and budgets (e.g., Jobstreet, LinkedIn, targeted ads, and specialized sourcing channels).
- Establish and scale strategic institutional partnerships with universities, schools, professional associations, and industry networks to secure sustainable pipelines for diverse talent segments.
- Analyze complex recruitment metrics (e.g., ad conversion rates, pipeline velocity, offer acceptance rates) to identify operational friction points and implement high-impact interventions.
Employer Branding & Value Proposition
- Architect and drive the company's employer branding strategy to expand its market presence and position the organization as an employer of choice across varied candidate segments.
- Establish mechanisms to regularly capture, evaluate, and act upon employee and candidate sentiment data, ensuring the company remains competitive in the talent market.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and to define, regularly audit, and evolve the company's Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
- Deploy targeted, multichannel marketing and communication tactics tailored to distinct employee segments to actively promote and operationalize the EVP.
Governance & Policy Development
- Design, implement, and govern comprehensive corporate recruitment policies that establish clear hiring protocols, compliance standards, and performance expectations for hiring managers and interview panels.
- Formulate and continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Talent Acquisition team to guarantee data integrity, equity, and exceptional quality at every stage of the candidate lifecycle.
People Management & Operational Excellence
- Own the recruitment dashboard, translating raw talent data into actionable, real-time insights for executive leadership regarding progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage the Talent Acquisition team's capacity, analyzing workload distribution and man-hours against requisition volume to justify and secure necessary team headcount.
- Lead, mentor, and sustain the motivation of direct reports, providing continuous professional development, coaching through complex hiring challenges, and managing team performance.
