Position Description

As a member of the Integration & Distribution Competency Center, the Talend Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions using the Talend platform.

This role focuses on delivering scalable, reliable, and high-quality integration solutions across diverse business and technology environments while ensuring adherence to integration standards, architectural best practices, and governance frameworks. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of integration initiatives, support business and IT stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across integration processes and platforms.

Your future duties and responsibilities

. Design, develop, and maintain Talend integration solutions, interfaces, and data workflows.

. Support the implementation and delivery of enterprise integration projects.

. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.

. Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation documentation.

. Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver integration solutions.

. Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, and defect resolution.

. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration jobs and workflows.

. Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials.

. Provide application maintenance and production support, including incident investigation and resolution.

. Ensure compliance with integration standards, security requirements, and development best practices.

. Contribute to integration architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

. Support knowledge sharing and collaboration within the integration community.

. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

. 5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, ETL/ELT development, or middleware technologies.

. Hands-on experience developing and supporting Talend integration solutions.

. Strong knowledge of Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud platforms.

. Solid understanding of enterprise integration concepts, architecture patterns, and best practices.

. Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.

. Strong experience with Java, SQL/PL-SQL, and scripting technologies.

. Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.

. Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.

. Familiarity with scheduling, monitoring, and automation tools.

. Experience using project and service management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

. Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

. Certification in Talend or related integration technologies is a strong advantage.

. Must be amenable to working onsite 1-3 days a week in McKinley, Taguig, on a mid-shift schedule.
