The T24 R23 Developer is responsible for the design, development, customization, and support
of the Temenos T24 (R23) core banking system. The role involves working closely with business
analysts, project managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable and compliant banking
solutions aligned with business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in Temenos T24 development
- Strong experience in T24 R23 version
- Proficiency in jBASE / TAFJ, InfoBasic programming and T24 modules (e.g., Accounts, Payments, Loans, Deposits)
- Experience in API integration / OFS / IRIS / REST services
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
- Familiarity with database concepts and performance tuning
- Experience working in banking or financial services industry
- Exposure to Temenos tools (Design Studio, TWS, Lifecycle Management)
- Experience in upgrade projects or migration to R23
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology
- Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance systems (e.g., e-invoicing, tax systems
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain applications within the Temenos T24 R23 environment
- Design, develop, customize and maintain RESTful APIs in T24 R23 using JSON
- Perform coding using jBASE / TAFJ (Java-based framework) depending on system architecture
- Design and develop local applications, versions, routines, and interfaces
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications (FSD/TS)
- Support integration of T24 with external systems (e.g., payments, e-invoicing, channels)
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support UAT activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal IT governance
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders for enhancements and releases
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain code repositories
