The Role

As aSystemsProgrammer, you will provide advanced programming and subsystem support for mainframe operating systems and DBDC environments. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of platforms on which enterprise applications are developed and deployed. You will lead root cause analysis (RCA) discussions, drive automation initiatives, and mentor junior team members while influencing technology decisions across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert-level support for mainframe environments (zOS,zVM,zLinux) andSysplexconfigurations.

  • Guide tofunctionalobjectivesand advise technical teams on best practices.

  • Lead RCA sessions for complex issues and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Design and develop new system elements, processes, and automation frameworks.

  • Provide technical and operational guidance to professional work teams globally.

  • Participate in strategic planning and influence decisions beyond your immediate function.

  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Who You Are

You'regood at what you do andpossessthe required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years in mainframe operations orSyspleximplementation. Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Deepexpertisein mainframe environments (zOS,zVM,zLinux) andSysplexconfiguration.

  • Proventrack recordin process improvements, automation, and compliance initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Experience mentoring and developing junior staff.

  • Englishproficiency: Intermediate to advanced (requiredfor global communication and documentation).

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Mainframe technologies or systems administration certifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
