The Qualifications We Seek
Required
- 5+ years of professional experience in software maintenance or application support
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, etc.) with a security-by-design mindset
- Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms
- Experience in database optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of application troubleshooting and debugging
- Strong knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework
Preferred
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data protection standards
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of API integrations, microservices architecture, and related security models
- Azure certifications preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing software applications and systems
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database issues
- Manage and support cloud-based infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Optimize database performance, integrity, and security
- Implement updates, patches, and system improvements
- Document system changes, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement technical solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders
- Participate in system audits, security reviews, and compliance initiatives
- Assist in disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning
Performance Measurement (KPIs & Metrics)
- Maintain adherence to availability and MTTR SLAs
- Ensure compliance with incident response and resolution SLAs
- Achieve change success and quality metrics
- Maintain documentation quality and knowledge retention standards
- Ensure readiness in security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards
