About the Role
Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing an organization's information systems needs and designing solutions to help meet business needs. He/She has extensive experience in systems analysis, software development and project management and works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with compliance, finance, risk and IT teams to understand and translate regulatory requirements into system specifications and reporting processes.
- Analyze, design, and implement solutions that support the generation of regulatory reports such as FRP, BASEL III, Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Large Exposure, Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) and other financial reports.
- Facilitates effective interaction and collaborates with business stakeholders to manage incoming IT service demands; Drives the business project scope, system goals, and requirements by finding innovative business solutions for best practice and technologies; Possesses an extensive understanding of business processes and collaborates with the business team on requirements collection and analysis.
- Integration with Other Systems: Analyze and integrate Oracle ERP with Oracle OFSAA, Oracle EPM, OCI, and various external source systems. Ensure data flows seamlessly and accurately across all platforms, addressing any issues related to system integration or data discrepancies.
What we're looking for
- With at least 8 – 10 years of experience in systems analysis; With Finance Background or exposure to Finance Systems (E.g.: Enterprise Resource Planning, General Ledger, Regulatory Reporting).
- With Development background. Familiar with MS SQL Scripting, Querying using Redshift, Knowledge in IBM AS400 DB2, Regulatory Reporting Tools.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, regulatory reporting frameworks, including those issued by BSP, AMLC and BIR.
- Experience with Oracle ERP integration with other enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, and operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
